One of my childhood fears was that witches would eat me if I didn’t run up the stairs fast enough when the lights were off. Why didn’t I just turn on the lights? I guess I secretly enjoyed the thrill of outrunning them.

To go with the whole childhood theme, I wanted to draw this in the style of Ed Emberley, my favourite childhood illustrator.
